I’m a southern California based black and white fine art landscape photographer. A mouthful, yes. Call me Shane for short. I certainly have a love for the wilderness and traveling.

With my images, I hold storytelling above all else. There is always history behind an image and I tend to recognize such things. From the mountain top landscapes of California and Utah, to the vast playas of the deserts in the west, I capture it all. I also hand edit each and every black and white you see, with no presets and meticulous corrections to get the desired result. Some images take days to complete. A standard I hold myself to.

I live a good life with what I do, and hopefully many years to follow. I hope I can capture the western beauty that we call Home, and share life’s story with you.
